Zoo

Halls Gap Lakeside
The Lakeside Tourist Park comes with many accommodations and glamping/camping options right in the centre of the Grampians National Park. The park also has a camp lounge, making it a great meeting space with an open fire, electric BBQs, fridge, a bar, seating, and a Television set. The newspapers and bread can be requested from the reception, and the reception shop also sells coffee and gifts. An ice-cream cart also operates on school holidays and weekends from September to April.
The Lakeside tourist park is next to the Lake Bellfield dam wall. The lake is perfect for recreational activities such as fishing, swimming, and boating. You can also go for a hearty wall along the dam wall to take in the stunning views.

What is the area known for?
For the most part, the area is known for its beautiful natural beauty and scenic surroundings. Why is it called Halls Gap?
The area is named after Charles Hall, a pastoralist/drover who found the area in 1842 and used it occasionally for grazing. The area saw its first white settlement in 1862.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not permitted in the National Park, and cats are generally prohibited.
